Cooper Moo

Cooper Moo is a Seattle-based American writer of non-fiction humor and alternative history. He is one of seven co-authors behind The Foreworld Saga's Mongoliad novels, a collaborative historical-fantasy project reimagining a 13th-century Mongol invasion of Europe thwarted by secret martial societies, alongside contributors such as Neal Stephenson and Greg Bear. Outside that project, Moo's writing has appeared in The Seattle Weekly and on Slate and BoingBoing, including the essay "Growing Up Black and White," named Social Issues Reporting article of the year by the Society of Professional Journalists. His work blends memoir, humor, and historical curiosity, and his contribution to the Mongoliad drew on that same interest in reexamining historical narratives through an alternative lens.
