Curtis C. Chen is an American science fiction author born in Taiwan. He is best known for the Kangaroo series, comic spy novels beginning with Waypoint Kangaroo (2016), which follow a gadget-obsessed government agent with a bizarre superpower: the ability to store and retrieve objects from an extradimensional pocket. The series continued with Kangaroo Too and True Blue Kangaroo. Chen also contributed to Ninth Step Station, a serialized cyberpunk crime drama published by Serial Box alongside co-authors Malka Older, Fran Wilde, and Jacqueline Koyanagi, set in a near-future Tokyo divided between American and Chinese occupation. His short fiction includes the flash-fiction collection Thursday's Children.
