D. J. Molles

D. J. Molles is an American author of post-apocalyptic and military thriller fiction, and a New York Times and USA Today bestseller. He worked as a police officer before turning to writing full time, a background that informs the survivalist realism of his best-known series, The Remaining, which follows an Army officer emerging from an underground bunker into a fractured, infected America across volumes including Refugees, Aftermath, Allegiance, Fractured, and Extinction. He has expanded that world in The Remaining Universe and continued writing post-collapse fiction in the series Lee Harden, Ashes of Eormun, A Grower's War, and Godbreaker. Molles lives in North Carolina, where he works on making his property self-sustainable, and continues to write prolifically across his interconnected apocalyptic series.
