Dakota Krout

Dakota Krout is an American author of LitRPG and progression fantasy, best known for the Divine Dungeon, Completionist Chronicles, and Full Murderhobo series, all set in worlds built around game-like leveling systems and dungeon cores. Audible named him one of its top five fantasy picks of 2017, and his books have repeatedly reached the top ranks of Amazon's and Audible's bestseller charts. Krout draws on his own background in the military and in programming and information technology to construct the detailed, rule-bound magic and terrain systems that define his fiction, giving his dungeons and quest structures an engineered, logical consistency distinct from more traditional fantasy world-building. He continues to expand his interconnected series while also running his own publishing operation.
