Dani Kollin is an American science fiction author born in 1964 in Los Angeles. With his brother Eytan Kollin, he co-writes The Unincorporated Man and its sequels — The Unincorporated War, The Unincorporated Woman, and The Unincorporated Future — a series set in a future where individuals are financially incorporated at birth and shares of a person's future earnings can be bought and sold. The debut novel won the Prometheus Award from the Libertarian Futurist Society and is frequently cited as a touchstone of libertarian science fiction, though reviewers have noted its economic arguments cut in more than one ideological direction. The brothers have also collaborated on shorter fiction collected in Grim Tales of the Brothers Kollin. Kollin's work pairs hard science-fiction worldbuilding with pointed political and economic argument.
