Danie Ware

Danie Ware is a British author from East Grinstead, West Sussex, who works in publicity and events for a large bookshop chain alongside her writing career, which began in genre fiction in 2011. She is best known for the Ecko trilogy, Ecko Rising, Ecko Burning, and Ecko Endgame, a cyberpunk-inflected fantasy that strands a genetically engineered London operative in a medieval-feeling dimension and follows the consequences of the collision between the two worlds. She has since written Children of Artifice, a standalone fantasy novel, and moved into tie-in fiction for Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 setting, including entries in the Adepta Sororitas line and the Judge Anderson series set in the Judge Dredd universe. Ware's fiction consistently returns to characters caught between brutal, competing systems of power.
