Dave Galanter

Dave Galanter (1969-2020) was an American author of Star Trek tie-in fiction across multiple series. In 2002 he co-wrote the story "Some Assembly Required" alongside fellow franchise writers Greg Brodeur, Scott Ciencin, Dan Jolley, and Aaron Rosenberg. His novel-length work spanned the Original Series, The Next Generation, Voyager, Discovery, and the Starfleet Corps of Engineers line, including Troublesome Minds (2009), Battle Lines (1999), Foreign Foes (1994), Bitter Medicine (2004), and the two-part Maximum Warp (2001), among others. Galanter frequently co-wrote his novels with other Star Trek tie-in authors across these varied series entries.
