Dave Stern

Dave Stern is an American author and editor who worked for many years at Pocket Books, where as a Star Trek editor he commissioned tie-in novels from writers including D. C. Fontana and Peter David. He also wrote extensively across multiple media-tie-in franchises himself, authoring numerous Star Trek: Enterprise novels such as Daedalus (2003), Daedalus's Children (2004), and Rosetta (2006), alongside the original-series novel The Children of Kings (2010). Beyond Star Trek, Stern wrote tie-in fiction for other properties, including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Blair Witch: Graveyard Shift (2000), a Wolverine novel, and Shadows in the Asylum: The Case Files of Dr. Charles Marsh (2006), reflecting a prolific career spanning franchise fiction across film, game, and television properties.
