Dave Trowbridge

Dave Trowbridge is an American science fiction author born in 1950, best known as co-author, with Sherwood Smith, of the Exordium series, a five-book space opera comprising The Phoenix in Flight, Ruler of Naught, A Prison Unsought, The Rifter's Covenant, and The Thrones of Kronos, published across the 1990s. Smith, better known on her own for the YA novel Crown Duel, lists the Exordium books alongside her solo work in her own bibliography, underscoring how central the partnership was to both writers' output through the decade. Trowbridge's fiction career has remained closely and almost exclusively tied to this long-running collaboration.
