David Solomons

David Solomons is a Scottish screenwriter and author, known for the My Brother Is a Superhero series of comic middle-grade novels. His debut novel in the series, My Brother Is a Superhero, won the Waterstones Children's Book Prize in 2016, and the series continued through My Gym Teacher Is an Alien Overlord, My Evil Twin Is a Supervillain, and My Cousin Is a Time Traveller, selling in more than twenty languages worldwide. Before writing novels, Solomons worked as a screenwriter, and he later wrote novels featuring the Doctor Who character in the New Series Adventures line. He is married to fellow author Natasha Solomons, with whom he has also collaborated as a screenwriter.
