David Wright is an author of post-apocalyptic and horror fiction, best known as co-author, with Sean Platt, of Yesterday's Gone, a serialized thriller about survivors of a global disappearance event, released in numbered "seasons" rather than traditional novels. Wright's solo catalog includes the Z 2134 zombie-apocalypse trilogy and the psychological thriller Karma Police, also called Jumper, alongside No Justice and the invasion-themed Stonefall series. His WhiteSpace and ForNevermore books continue his focus on ordinary characters facing catastrophic, world-altering events. Wright's collaborative and solo work both reflect the fast-released, episodic serial format that became prominent in independent post-apocalyptic fiction during the early 2010s.
