Deanna Chase

Deanna Chase is an American author of paranormal romance, paranormal women's fiction, and urban fantasy, born in California and now based near New Orleans, Louisiana, after several years traveling by RV. Her Bourbon Street books, including Witches of Keating Hollow and the long-running Jade Calhoun series, draw directly on the atmosphere of her adopted home, reportedly inspired in part by unexplained footsteps she heard while writing in her nineteenth-century cottage. She has continued building interconnected supernatural worlds in Last Witch Standing and the Crescent City Fae series, and has expanded into alien-romance territory with the Bayou Springs Alien Mail Order Brides. Chase also writes cozy mysteries under the pen names Ramey James, with co-author Angie Ramey, and Lucy Quinn.
