Den Patrick

Den Patrick (born 1975 in Dorset, England) is a British fantasy author best known for the Erebus Sequence, a trilogy beginning with The Boy with the Porcelain Blade, which follows a boy raised among artificial, animal-masked heirs in a strange, decaying court. The novel was shortlisted for the Sydney J. Bounds Award for Best Newcomer at the British Fantasy Awards. He continued the series with The Boy Who Wept Blood and The Girl on the Liar's Throne, before starting the Ashen Torment sequence with Witchsign and Stormtide. Patrick is also known within the UK fantasy community as co-founder, with fellow novelist Jen Williams, of the Super Relaxed Fantasy Club, a long-running informal social gathering for fantasy writers and readers in London.
