Dima Zales is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of science fiction and fantasy, born in 1978 in Donetsk, in what was then the Soviet Union. He holds a master's degree in computer science from New York University and undergraduate degrees in computer science and psychology from Brooklyn College, and worked as a programmer -- including building high-frequency trading software for banks -- before turning to writing full time in 2013. He now lives in Palm Coast, Florida. Zales is best known for the urban-fantasy Mind Dimensions series and its Dream sequence spin-off, the Sorcery Code duology, and the Sasha Urban series, and he co-writes the internationally bestselling Krinar Chronicles science-fiction romance series with his wife, Anna Zaires.
