Don Perrin

Don Perrin is a Canadian writer and former military officer, born October 1, 1964, in Iserlohn, West Germany. He is best known for collaborating with Margaret Weis on tie-in fiction for the Dragonlance setting, including entries in the Raistlin Chronicles and the Kang's Regiment series' The Doom Brigade and Draconian Measures, as well as contributing to the Dragonlance Campaign Setting sourcebook alongside Weis, Jamie Chambers, and Christopher Coyle. With Weis he also co-created the Mag Force 7 science-fiction series within the Star of the Guardians universe, beginning with The Knights of the Black Earth, and contributed to the Sovereign Stone fantasy trilogy. Perrin's military background has informed the tactical and unit-based elements of his shared-world fiction, which spans both tabletop-derived fantasy and original space-opera settings.
