Doug Molitor

Doug Molitor is an American television screenwriter born in Los Angeles in 1952, with more than seventy writing credits spanning animated and live-action series across four decades. His animation work includes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men: Evolution, James Bond Jr., and the environmentally themed Captain Planet, for which he received a Humanitas Prize nomination; his live-action credits include Sliders, F/X: The Series, and Adventure Inc. Alongside screenwriting, Molitor has written the comic science-fiction Time Amazon novels, following the Memoirs of a Time Traveler series, and the horror-comedy Full Moon Fever books, bringing the same comedic sensibility from his television work to genre fiction. He is also known outside writing circles as a four-time Jeopardy! champion, having competed in the show's Tournament of Champions in 1987, 1993, and 2025.
