Edward Bloor

Edward Bloor is an American novelist born in Trenton, New Jersey, in 1950, and a graduate of Fordham University. He is best known for Tangerine (1997), a young-adult novel about a boy navigating family secrets and a Florida citrus town, which earned an Edgar Award nomination and a place on the American Library Association's Best Books for Young Adults list. He followed it with Crusader, Story Time, London Calling, and Taken, the last of which won the Florida Book Award Silver Medal. Bloor lives in Winter Garden, Florida, and has continued publishing young-adult fiction across nearly three decades.
