Elizabeth Bonesteel is an American science fiction author best known for the Central Corps series, a military science fiction sequence beginning with The Cold Between and continuing through Remnants of Trust, Breach of Containment, and Condition of War. The books follow crew members of a starship-based military organization navigating political intrigue, chain-of-command tension, and interstellar conflict, in a mode that blends space-opera scale with close, character-driven storytelling. Bonesteel has also published the standalone novella Survival Tactics, later reissued in a revised and expanded edition, and the novel Arkhangelsk.
