Elizabeth Vaughan

Elizabeth Vaughan is an American author of fantasy romance, best known for the Chronicles of the Warlands trilogy, beginning with Warprize (2005) and continuing with Warsworn (2006) and Warlord (2007). Set in a fantasy world of warring nomadic clans, the series follows a healer captured by an invading warlord who becomes his bonded warprize and, ultimately, an ally in reshaping the political order between their peoples. Vaughan continued the setting in later books, including Warcry and Wardance, and has also contributed novels to Mercedes Lackey's shared Valdemar and Elemental Masters universes.
