Emily Lloyd-Jones

Emily Lloyd-Jones is an American author of young adult and middle-grade fantasy. Before publishing her first novel, she worked for six years as a bookseller and children's book buyer, and holds a degree in English from Western Oregon University and a master's in publishing from Rosemont College. Her novels include the horror-inflected The Bone Houses, which follows a gravedigger and an apprentice mapmaker contending with the walking dead, and the Illusive series. Her Welsh-inspired fantasy The Drowned Woods, opening the Unseen Magic sequence, became the first American novel in forty-six years to win Wales's Tir na n-Og Award. She has also written The Hearts We Sold and the two-book Wild Huntress series.
