Eoin McNamee

Eoin McNamee is a Northern Irish novelist born in 1961 in Kilkeel, County Down. He studied law at Trinity College Dublin, where he now directs the Oscar Wilde Centre and its M.Phil. in creative writing, and is a member of Aosdána. Alongside acclaimed adult novels drawn from real Northern Irish crimes, including Resurrection Man and the Blue trilogy — The Blue Tango, Orchid Blue, and Blue Is the Night, which won the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year — McNamee writes fantasy adventure fiction for younger readers, including the Navigator trilogy (The Navigator, City of Time, The Frost Child) and The Ring of Five series. He has also written thrillers as John Creed, winning the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger for The Sirius Crossing.
