Eric Kent Edstrom

Eric Kent Edstrom is an American fantasy and science fiction author based in Wisconsin. He writes speculative fiction centered on thieves, prophecy, and stubborn hope, spanning multiple series and age groups. His Starside Saga, an epic fantasy series beginning with Thief of Sparks, follows a teenage thief who discovers uncontrollable magical abilities in a world featuring telepathic cats and an original magic system, with a companion collection, Starside Tales, extending the setting further. He also writes the young-adult dystopian Scion Chronicles, launched with Daughter of Nothing and compared by readers to Divergent and The Hunger Games, as well as the adventure-focused Undermountain Saga. His books appear in ebook, paperback, and select audiobook and box-set editions.
