Erica O'Rourke

Erica O'Rourke is an American author of young-adult urban fantasy based near Chicago, who also writes adult mystery fiction under the pen name Lucy Kerr. She is best known for two YA trilogies: the Torn trilogy — Torn, Tangled, and Bound — and the Dissonance series — Dissonance, Resonance, and Harmonic — which follows a teenager who can walk between alternate versions of reality. As Lucy Kerr, she launched an adult mystery career with Time of Death (2016) from Crooked Lane Books, continuing with the Stillwater General Mysteries. O'Rourke's fiction is characterized, in her own words, by heroines who make their own fate and fall for the boys they shouldn't, blending romance with high-concept fantasy or small-town mystery plotting.
