Erica Stevens is a pen name, chosen in memory of two deceased friends, of an American author born in New York who grew up splitting time between New York and Massachusetts. She writes paranormal and dystopian fiction, particularly vampire lore and post-apocalyptic survival stories. Her series include Captive, beginning with the abduction thriller Captured; Kindred, centered on vampire hunter lore; the revenge-driven Fire and Ice, opening with Frost Burn; The Survivor Chronicles, following humanity after a catastrophic upheaval; the frozen post-apocalyptic Ravening series, which begins with Ravenous; and The Coven, extending her witch and vampire mythology further.
