Erik Bear

Erik Bear is an American author and one of the collaborative team of writers, including Neal Stephenson, Greg Bear, and Joseph Brassey, behind The Mongoliad, a serialized historical fantasy saga set during the Mongol invasions of medieval Europe that anchors the wider Foreworld Saga. He has also contributed short fiction set in the Halo video-game universe, and writes speculative short fiction under the joint byline Basil and Moebius. Bear's work centers on collaborative, transmedia storytelling that blends historical research with fantastical action, reflecting the shared-universe, multi-author approach that has defined much of his published output to date.
