Evan Currie is a Canadian author, born June 3, 1976, with a background in computer sciences who also worked for years in the lobster industry before establishing his writing career in 2011. He writes space opera, military science fiction, and techno-thrillers, best known for the Odyssey One series, which follows a human starship crew's first contact with an interstellar war already in progress, and its companion Hayden War series. His other work includes The Scourwind Legacy, Atlantis Rising, and Superhuman, and his novels have been translated into Polish and German.
