Evan Dicken

Evan Dicken is an American writer of tie-in and short speculative fiction. He is best known for his contributions to Games Workshop's Age of Sigmar setting through Black Library, including the novel Lioness of the Parch and its sequel following the warrior Tahlia, as well as fiction set in the card game Legend of the Five Rings. Dicken also writes Cthulhu Mythos short fiction, with stories appearing in anthologies such as Mike Davis's Autumn Cthulhu and other weird and cosmic-horror venues. His work tends toward tightly plotted, faction-driven fantasy for shared-world settings alongside more atmospheric horror short fiction, and he has written about balancing established game lore with room for his own interpretation when introducing new factions still being defined by the wider game studio.
