Frank Borsch (born 1966 in Pforzheim, West Germany) is a German science-fiction author, translator, and journalist. He studied English and history in Freiburg, where he still lives, and began his career translating English-language fiction and superhero comics such as Daredevil, Hulk, and Spider-Man into German, before working as a journalist covering internet culture. His first novel, Fluchtpunkt Schemmenstern (1998), was set in the long-running Perry Rhodan science-fiction universe, and he became one of its regular contributors, serving as lead author of the Perry Rhodan NEO relaunch from 2011 to 2015 and writing across sub-series including Vision Terrania, Das galaktische Ratsel, and Expedition Wega. Borsch's work sits within one of German science fiction's most enduring shared-universe franchises.
