Gillian Bronte Adams is an American author of epic fantasy for young adult and general readers, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. Her Songkeeper Chronicles trilogy, beginning with Orphan's Song in 2014, follows a mute girl drawn into a quest tied to an ancient, magical song; she continued the series through Songkeeper and Song of Leira. Her more recent Fireborn Epic, set in a kingdom where warriors bond with elementally powered warhorses, opened with Of Fire and Ash, winner of the Realm Award for Epic Fantasy, and continued with Of Sea and Smoke, a Carol Award winner for speculative fiction.
