Glynn Owen Barrass is a British editor and writer specializing in Lovecraftian horror and heroic fantasy anthologies. Working frequently alongside co-editor Brian M. Sammons, he has assembled Cthulhu Mythos collections such as The Children of Gla'aki, built around Ramsey Campbell's creation, and Steampunk Cthulhu, Atomic-Age Cthulhu, and Eldritch Chrome, each recasting Mythos horror in a different historical or futuristic setting. His own fiction has appeared in reissues of Lin Carter's Flashing Swords! sword-and-sorcery anthologies, completed from Carter's unpublished material alongside writer Robert M. Price, and in tie-in collections for the Punktown and Herbert West: Reanimator settings. Barrass's projects were recognized among the 2019 ENnie Award winners. Based in Middlesbrough, England, he has built a body of work centered on continuing and reframing other authors' mythologies within collaborative small-press anthologies.
