Grace Chetwin

Grace Chetwin (born 1964 in Nottingham, England) is a children's fantasy author. She is best known for the multi-book fantasy sequence Tales of Gom in the Legends of Ulm, which includes Gom on Windy Mountain (1986), The Riddle and the Rune (1987), The Crystal Stair (1988), The Starstone (1989), and The Atheling (1987). She also wrote the shorter fantasy sequence The Last Legacy, comprising Out of the Dark World (1985) and Child of the Air (1991), along with standalone titles such as Collidescope (1990), On All Hallows' Eve (1984), and the picture book Jason's Seven Magical Night Rides (1994). Her books are aimed primarily at middle-grade readers and are noted for their inventive fantasy settings.
