Guy Bass

Guy Bass is a British author of children's fiction, best known for the Stitch Head series, a Gothic-comic saga about a small, forgotten monster created by a mad scientist, which began in 2011 and was later adapted into an animated film. He also writes the humorous horror-adventure Dinkin Dings books, the fantasy-comedy Skeleton Keys series, and Gormy Ruckles and The Legend of Frog, alongside the darker fairy-tale-inflected Scrap. Bass's work is aimed at middle-grade readers and consistently blends spooky, Tim Burton-esque atmosphere with slapstick humor and misfit heroes, and Stitch Head in particular has become his signature creation across both print and screen.
