H. E. Edgmon

H. E. Edgmon is the author of The Witch King (2021), a young-adult fantasy novel following a transgender witch prince who flees an arranged marriage in his home realm, written partly out of a stated desire to portray characters reflecting identities the author felt were missing from the fiction they had read growing up. The novel continues in the duology's second volume, The Fae Keeper. Edgmon has also written The Ouroboros series, including Godly Heathens, Merciless Saviors, and We Can Never Leave, extending similar themes of queer and transgender identity into contemporary fantasy settings.
