Harriet Muncaster

Harriet Muncaster, born in 1988, is a British author and illustrator best known for creating and illustrating the Isadora Moon series, which follows a half-fairy, half-vampire girl and has been translated into more than thirty languages. Titles including Isadora Moon Goes to School, Isadora Moon Goes Camping, and Isadora Moon Has a Birthday established the character across dozens of illustrated volumes for early readers, and the series was later adapted into a British animated children's television show. Muncaster also writes and illustrates the Mirabelle series, about a young witch, and the Victoria Stitch and Emerald books. Her work is distinguished by combining her own whimsical illustration style with gentle, family-centered supernatural stories for children.
