Hayley Stone

Hayley Stone is an American author, editor, and game writer based in California, with a bachelor's degree in history from California State University, Sacramento. She writes science fiction and speculative fiction for adults, best known for the Last Resistance series — including Machinations, Counterpart, and Architect — which follows a resistance movement fighting a robotic uprising. She has also written the weird-western novel Make Me No Grave. Beyond novels, Stone publishes short fiction and speculative poetry in venues such as Apex Magazine and Fireside Fiction, has judged genre fiction competitions, mentored writers through Pitch Wars, and worked as a senior editor for an independent publisher. She currently works as a narrative designer at Obsidian Entertainment, contributing to The Outer Worlds 2.
