Ian Bone

Ian Bone is an Australian writer born in 1956 in Geelong, Victoria, and now based in Adelaide. A graduate of the Australian Film and Television School, he built a parallel career in children's television, contributing to ABC shows including Play School and Finders Keepers, before and alongside authoring more than twenty-five books for young readers. His novel The Song of an Innocent Bystander was shortlisted for the South Australian Festival Awards for Literature and named to the American Library Association's Best Books for Young Adults list. His crime and thriller-tinged fiction, including the Vidz-linked spy and mystery titles catalogued here, has twice been shortlisted for the Ned Kelly Awards, and nine of his books have been named to the Children's Book Council of Australia's Notable Books list.
