Inbali Iserles

Inbali Iserles is a British author born in Israel. She is one of the writers behind the Erin Hunter collective pseudonym, contributing to the animal-adventure Survivors series alongside authors including Victoria Holmes, Cherith Baldry, and Tui T. Sutherland. Under her own name she writes fantasy for younger readers centered on animal protagonists, including The Tygrine Cat and its sequel The Tygrine Cat on the Run, following a stray kitten drawn into a hidden feline mysticism, and the Foxcraft trilogy, beginning with The Taken, in which a young fox uncovers a magical, endangered gift shared by her kind. Her fiction consistently explores hidden animal societies and coming-of-age discovery through a naturalistic, non-anthropomorphized lens.
