James Chambers

James Chambers is an American horror author and comic book writer born on December 16, 1970, in New York City. A graduate of Fordham University, he specializes in Lovecraftian and Cthulhu Mythos fiction, including the collection The Engines of Sacrifice and further volumes such as Resurrection House and On the Night Border. He won the Bram Stoker Award for Best Graphic Novel for Kolchak the Night Stalker: The Forgotten Lore of Edgar Allan Poe and has been a three-time Stoker finalist in other categories. Chambers is active in the Horror Writers Association, having chaired its StokerCon conference and taught at HWA Horror University, and received the organization's Richard Laymon Award and Silver Hammer Award. His early career included editorial work on tie-in fiction for Leonard Nimoy's Primortals and Gene Roddenberry's Lost Universe.
