Jason V. Brock

Jason V. Brock is an American writer, editor, and filmmaker born in 1970 in Charlotte, North Carolina, working primarily in horror and dark speculative fiction. Alongside his own fiction and poetry, he has closely collaborated with veteran horror and SF writer William F. Nolan, co-editing anthologies including The Bleeding Edge: Dark Barriers, Dark Frontiers and The Devil's Coattails: More Dispatches from the Dark Frontier, and compiling William F. Nolan: A Miscellany. Brock served as managing editor of Dark Discoveries magazine and co-founded JaSunni Productions with his wife, Sunni K. Brock, through which he has directed documentaries on figures including Charles Beaumont and Forrest J Ackerman, the latter winning a Rondo Hatton Award for Best Documentary. His nonfiction survey Disorders of Magnitude and the anthology A Darke Phantastique were both Bram Stoker Award finalists. He belongs to the Horror Writers Association and SFWA.
