Jay Caselberg

Jay Caselberg, born James Caselberg on 11 March 1958 in Camden, New South Wales, is an Australian science fiction and horror writer who has lived mainly in the United Kingdom since the 1980s. He began publishing short fiction in the early 2000s, briefly under the pseudonym James A. Hartley, before establishing himself with the Jack Stein series -- Wyrmhole, Metal Sky, The Star Tablet, and Wall of Mirrors -- noir-inflected science fiction novels following a psychically gifted investigator through settings built on virtual reality and nanotechnology. His shorter fiction and poetry have been gathered in career-spanning collections such as The Side Eye, and his novels have since been reissued in omnibus and bundled editions, including The Jack Stein Omnibus.
