Jayne Lyons

Jayne Lyons is a British author from Liverpool best known for 100% Wolf, a comic middle-grade novel about Freddy Lupin, a boy from a werewolf family whose first transformation turns him into a poodle instead of a wolf, forcing him to prove himself despite his unimpressive supernatural inheritance. The book was adapted into a 2020 Australian animated film of the same name, directed by Alexs Stadermann, which followed Freddy's adventure to reclaim his place in his werewolf family. Lyons continued Freddy's story in 100% Hero and returned to the series years later with 100% Wolf: Power of the Firestone. She also wrote the darkly comic Z for Zanto: Even Zombies Can Dream. Her fiction favors humor and heart within monster-themed adventures for younger readers.
