Jennifer Brozek

Jennifer Brozek is an American author, editor, and game designer born December 9, 1970, at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska. She began her writing career in 2004 after working as a software QA engineer, and has since served as SFWA Director-at-Large (2015-2017) and creative director of Apocalypse Ink Productions. She is best known for tie-in fiction in shared universes including Shadowrun, BattleTech's Rogue Academy trilogy, and Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar, alongside her own Karen Wilson Chronicles and the Melissa Allen series. Brozek has won the Australian Shadows Award and the Scribe Award for Best Young Adult Tie-in Novel, and been repeatedly nominated for the Hugo, Bram Stoker, and British Fantasy Awards. She has spoken publicly about living with Asperger syndrome, dyslexia, and anxiety disorder.
