Jennifer Roberson

Jennifer Roberson (born 1953) is an American author of fantasy and historical fiction, based in Tucson, Arizona. She holds a journalism degree from Northern Arizona University, including a research term at the University of London. She is best known for two long-running fantasy series: the Chronicles of the Cheysuli, eight novels following generations of shapeshifting warriors in conflict with a suspicious kingdom, and the Sword-Dancer Saga, chronicling the sparring partnership and romance of the swordsman Tiger and swordswoman Del across shifting desert and northern landscapes. She has also written the Karavans series and standalone historical and fantasy novels, and co-authored The Golden Key, a World Fantasy Award finalist, with Melanie Rawn and Kate Elliott. Outside writing, Roberson breeds and shows Cardigan Welsh Corgis.
