Jeremy Robert Johnson

Jeremy Robert Johnson is an American author, born in 1977, known for intense, body-focused horror fiction. He began publishing short fiction in the early 2000s, including work in the anthology Pain & Other Petty Plots to Keep You in Stitches, and established his voice with the novella Extinction Journals, which follows a survivor crossing a devastated near-future America. His subsequent books include We Live Inside You, Skullcrack City, and The Loop, in which an experimental drug drives a small city's teenagers into violent frenzy. Johnson's fiction is defined by a sustained physical and psychological intensity that has drawn consistent notice within the horror genre, and he remains an active, closely followed voice in contemporary American horror outside the genre's mainstream.
