Jessica Palmer

Jessica Palmer (born 1953 in Chicago) is an American-born author and British citizen who has worked as a journalist, technical writer, and wildlife rehabilitator alongside her fiction career. Her science-fiction Renegade World series, including Healer's Quest, Fire Wars, and Return of the Wizard, and her Factor trilogy - Random Factor, Human Factor, and Final Factor - appeared in the early-to-mid 1990s. Her horror novel Dark Lullaby was a 1989 Bram Stoker Award finalist for best first novel, and she went on to write further horror including Cradlesong and Shadow Dance. Palmer's fiction has been translated into several languages, and she has also published nonfiction on folklore and Native American history as Jessica Dawn Palmer.
