Jez Cajiao

Jez Cajiao is a British author of dark LitRPG and fantasy fiction, born in 1980 in Hartlepool and now living in North East England with his wife and two sons. Before writing, he worked in catering, bar work, and welding, and trained in information systems. He began writing in 2018, spending two years on his first novel, then wrote prolifically through 2020 to become an established name in the LitRPG community. His work includes the Underverse series, following a man who battles creatures invading his dreams from another realm, and the Rise of Mankind books, about a protagonist who gains supernatural abilities after a near-death experience. He has expanded into the same fictional setting with the City of Artem novels, part of the wider Artem World. Cajiao's fiction combines game-like progression systems with grim, high-stakes fantasy for LitRPG readers.
