Jill Williamson

Jill Williamson is an American author of fantasy and young adult fiction, based in Arkansas, whose work is frequently published for the Christian fiction market. Her Blood of Kings trilogy, beginning with By Darkness Hid (2009), follows a stable boy who discovers he can hear others' thoughts and is drawn into a kingdom's succession struggle, while The Safe Lands trilogy and The Kinsman Chronicles build out further science-fantasy and dystopian settings within a shared universe. She also writes the tech-thriller Mission League series. Beyond her novels, Williamson runs the writing-craft site Go Teen Writers, mentoring aspiring authors. Her fiction consistently combines traditional fantasy-quest structure with themes of faith tested under political and personal pressure.
