Jodi Lynn Anderson is an American author of fiction for children and young adults who grew up in northern New Jersey and now lives in Asheville, North Carolina. She holds a BA in British literature from the University of Maryland and an MFA from Bennington College, and began her career as a book editor at HarperCollins in New York before turning to writing full time. Her early work includes the fantastical May Bird trilogy and the Peaches series, and she reached wider acclaim with Tiger Lily (2012), a retelling of Peter Pan from the perspective of a Neverland heroine caught between two worlds. Later novels, including The Vanishing Season, The Moment Collector, and Thirteen Witches, continue her interest in ghost stories, myth, and coming-of-age narratives with a literary, atmospheric style.
