Jodi Taylor

Jodi Taylor is an English author, born in Bristol, best known for The Chronicles of St Mary's, a long-running comic science fiction series following historians who investigate major historical events by time-traveling in person, beginning with the self-published Just One Damned Thing After Another, later picked up by Accent Press. She followed the series with a companion sequence, The Time Police, following a stricter law-enforcement arm of the same time-travel operation, as well as the contemporary fantasy Elizabeth Cage novels and the Frogmorton Farm books. Taylor also writes historical romance under the pen name Isabella Barclay. Before becoming a full-time novelist she worked for nearly two decades for North Yorkshire County Council, and her fiction is known for pairing slapstick humor with genuine emotional and historical weight.
