Joe Schreiber

Joe Schreiber is an American novelist, born in 1969 in Michigan, working across horror, thriller, and media tie-in fiction. He is best known for Death Troopers (2009), a horror novel set in the Star Wars universe that brings zombie-outbreak horror to an Imperial prison ship, and for the earlier Star Wars novel Maul: Lockdown. Beyond Star Wars, Schreiber has written original horror and thriller fiction such as Chasing the Dead and Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick (reissued as Pretty Deadly), alongside further licensed fiction for The Mandalorian and other franchises. His work frequently mixes fast-paced genre thriller plotting with horror set pieces, and several of his books have drawn interest from film producers. Schreiber has also worked outside writing as an MRI technician in Pennsylvania.
